Places of Worship scheme open for expressions of interest
Since its inception in 2016, the Places of Worship scheme has awarded over £1.5 million through 134 grants to places of worship from all major religions for additional protection and security measures. The fourth year of the scheme will not only provide up to £1.6 million of funding but will also be easier than ever to apply for. Applicants can register an interest in the Places of Worship scheme via email.
Portsmouth Lottery Small Grants Fund
Does your good cause, charity or social enterprise operate within Portsmouth city limits? Are you and your team working to shape our great waterfront city? If the answer to those two questions is yes – apply today for a small grant from the Portsmouth Lottery! You can apply for support for a whole range of projects. Application deadline for next funding panel is Friday 17 May by 5pm. The closing dates for applications for the rest of the year are Friday 9 August and Saturday 26 October.
Tesco Bags of Help Centenary Grant
Tesco created the Bags of Help Centenary Grants scheme to celebrate 100 years of doing business. The Grants are two special voting rounds of the Tesco local community grant scheme and offers a unique opportunity to benefit more people. To be eligible to apply, projects must be in England, Scotland or Wales and provide a significant benefit to communities across the voting region. Three community projects in each region will be voted on by customers in Tesco stores throughout the UK, in July/August and November/December 2019. Following the vote, the project that receives the most votes in the voting region will receive a grant of up to £25,000, second place receiving up to £15,000 and third place up to £10,000.
