Portsmouth Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Service (ISVA)

The rape and sexual violence service is for anyone aged 16+ who has been at anytime in their life, a victim of rape or any other sexual violence or abuse.

It is FREE confidential and independent of the police. There is no obligation to report the incident/ incidents as a crime if you do not want to but if you do we can help you to contact the police and support you throughout the case.

The purpose of the service is to offer practical advice, advocacy and support and help you with safety planning.

You can be seen face to face, over the phone or in a way which suits your needs best.

 Portsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling Service

Free specialist counselling service for men and women who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse at any time in their lives. Counselling is available to men and women aged 18 and over who are residents of Portsmouth You can refer yourself by telephoning/emailing PARCS. If you would like someone to refer on your behalf, this could be a friend, relative, GP, other health worker or support agency. parcs
