Preventing and Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour

We are dedicated to preventing anti-social behaviour in all its forms. On many occasions moving people is not always the best solution as they then offend against their new neighours causing the whole cycle of misery to continue.

We aim to change the anti-social behaviour using the carrot and stick method. This involves using support and enforcement. On occasions serious ASB will require the use of swift and powerful enforcement action in order to stop the immediate behaviour. This is then followed by support to help the offenders to work towards long term changes of their behaviour.

On other occasions support will be offered in the early stages to attempt to address the issues with the threat of enforcement action if they fail to make the necessary changes to stop the problem.
