Partners from the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, Hampshire Constabulary and Portsmouth City Council are organising an International Day of Peace Community Celebration on Saturday 22 September 2018, from 11am to 4pm at Southsea Fire Station.
This family fun day will be a celebration of the things that make this city great, and we are hoping to see all the cultures and communities in Portsmouth represented there.
Many community groups have signed up to deliver a range of activities, cook food, perform and volunteer on the day. We will also have fun activities for all ages, including a bouncy castle, interactive arts projects, henna tattoos, face painting, and balloon modelling, as well as food vendors.
Please join us as we mark this year’s UN International Day of Peace with an opportunity to celebrate our wonderfully diverse great waterfront city.
