Assessment , Treatment & Support (Adults):

For help, advice or treatment for a drug or alcohol problem please visit the following venues (no appointment necessary):

Open Access Service  (Fratton Community Centre, Trafalgar Place, Fratton)

Monday or Thursday 1pm – 4pm

Tuesday 10am – 1pm

Kingsway House (130 Elm Grove, Southsea)

Monday or Friday 9am – 12pm

Alcohol Counselling (Adults):

Free, confidential counselling for Alcohol problems is available from Portsmouth Counselling Service. 

To benefit from this service call 023 9273 5836 (between 6pm and 9pm, Monday to Friday)

Needle Exchange (Adults):

A mobile needle exchange is available in Portsmouth, to access this service please telephone 023 9285 1999

Under 18s

E’s Up offer advice, information, support, needle exchange and treatment to young people under 18.  To access ‘E’s Up’ telephone 023 9282 5140

Family & Carers Support

First Step – support group for anyone affected by the drug or alcohol use of a family member or someone they care about.  Group meets Monday evenings, please telephone ANA on 023 9237 3433

Families Anonymous – meet Wednesdays 7pm – 8.30pm at Eastney Methodist Church, Highland Road, Portsmouth.  For more information telephone 0845 120 0660
