Anti-social Behaviour (ASB) is a key priority for the Safer Portsmouth Partnership (SPP). You can download the Anti-social Behaviour Delivery Plan for 2008-2009 here. Delivery Plans are currently being updated and will be available on the website soon.

The SPP Anti-social Behaviour Champion is Kevin Evenett (Group Manager) Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service. Kevin is responsible for ensuring the that the ASB objective and agenda is fulfilled.
Definition of Anti Social Behaviour (ASB)
ASB is defined in section 1 (1) a of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 as an individual acting in a manner that caused or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons, not of the same household as him/herself
The Anti Social Behaviour Unit (ASBU) will work with city residents and partner agencies to ensure a multi agency approach to reducing ASB and creating safer communities.
The ASBU consists of staff from the Portsmouth City Council’s Community Safety Team, Hampshire Constabulary and Local Authority Housing Service.
The ASBU also works closely with Hampshire Constabulary, Community Wardens, Drug Action Team, Hidden Violence, PYOP, Motiv8, Environmental Services, Probation, Youth Offending Team and Social Services.
